Message from the General Commissioner

The republic of Djibouti is very happy to participate in the Aichi Expo 2005. It wishes to present to the japanese and international public a facet of the african diversity. We wish to show that people come to Djibouti to participate in a smart kind of tourism, based on sharing, discovering and being amazed. At our stand, curious and observer travelers will be able to understand that Djibouti offers the opportunity to discover still virgin soils and extraordinary landscapes. In the middle of a world which is today standardized, Djibouti remains one of the last destinations capable of delighting and changing the old routine of the tourists. In my name and in the name of my country, i would like to congratulate the organizers of this exposition and wish success to all the participants and visitors.
